Sick Leave Bank


Effective July 1, 2025, all new employees will be automatically enrolled in the Sick Leave Bank and make an initial contribution of one (1) day. A new hire wishing to cancel their
membership must submit an opt-out form within thirty (30) days of their hire. See the complete rules for further information.

The Sick Leave Bank Committee meets two times per month to review and act on requests for sick leave bank usage and makes recommendations to the FCTA Board of Directors on sick leave bank policies.
Please note, that in cases of childbirth, requests cannot be processed without including the actual delivery date and delivery type to allow for the proper counting of grant days.
